PipeLink is a natural gas scheduling and nomination tool that acts as an interface between the gas scheduler's desktop, using spreadsheets or ETRM systems, and the Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBB) of the pipelines.
PipeLink has administrative capabilities to store the relevant data required for gas scheduling such as DUNS information, meter and contract numbers.
PipeLink is a tremendous time saver and current customers claim it reduces multi-step processes to a two or three step process. This saves gas schedulers valuable time, alleviating errors and allowing trading groups additional time to trade and market natural gas.
Several product features include:
- PipeLink is a single web interface providing access to all major pipeline nomination platforms.
- One scheduler can nominate on multiple pipes with a single login.
- PipeLink can track information important to a scheduling team (MDQ's, DUNS information, and meter locations), giving the scheduler advance notice of potential errors.
- PipeLink receives error messages from the pipeline and alerts the schedulers to the problem by highlighting the suspect data.
- PipeLink scheduling curtailments are immediately highlighted on the PipeLink system, making it easy to keep accounting systems in-sync with actual data.
- PipeLink will accept data in a variety of formats to facilitate ease of data transfer from the subscriber's systems, such as CSV or XML files.
- In most cases, installation does not require the assistance of the subscriber's IT group.
